Self-locking hook with eyelet

Self-locking hook with eyelet

Steel self-locking hook with eyelet is used in the producing of slings (hoist cables) and load-handling devices, as well as when carrying out towing and rigging operations and as end element. Characteristics: 4x safety margin for tearing (8th strength class), has a fixed eyelet, is equipped with a steel lock with a safety guard against self-opening. Lock of hook is connected to the eyelet in such a way that when lifting under load it turns into  closed position and is fixed. To open the hook, it is necessary to press back the safety guard of lock. Due to the presence of the safety guard of lock, the safety of operations is increased, and the situation of unslinging is excluded. Using components of the 8th strength class produced by TOR Industries Company makes it possible to reduce the weight of the sling while maintaining the rated reliability parameters.
